PRESENTATION SPECIALIST

Putting together a successful presentation can be daunting. I've had years of experience with the trial & error method until I came up with a system that gets great results every time. One thing I learned is that reading "How To" articles is helpful, but nothing compares to working with a Coach. Below is an outline of how I work with organizations to create dynamic, professional presentations.

1. I create a team. You are the subject matter experts. I utilize the talents of the point people within your organization to guide the project.
2. Before I begin building the presentation, I talk to you about your organization, product, & concept behind this initiative. Together we establish a feeling, tone, & qualities that represent the message your are relaying.
3. We begin with the end in mind. Before we spend time flushing out details that may not support your goal it is important to understand the arch of your project. So we need to determine why you are presenting this information. To:
   • Motivate
   • Educate
   • Gain consensus
4. I get details about your audience including demographic information that will help me determine what will engage them & what their expectations will be (then we can strive to exceed them).
5. We create a presentation blueprint from which we will determine how many slides are required to relay your message & the content of those slides.
6. I design a template by reviewing the media & graphics that you already have. From those images, I create a color scheme, design elements, graphics, & catch phrases that are consistent with your product & organizational values.
7. I compile the presentation & bring it to life through the use of animation & multimedia.
8. I address the logistics, as when & where will you be presenting this information is very important. Special considerations need to be given for lighting, viewers distance from the screen, & weather or not we will be using other equipment in conjunction with the presentation.
9. I have more than a decade of public speaking experience & am available to present on your company's behalf. I can also work with your presenter to ensure that they understand the technical aspects of the audio-visual equipment & software. I have also coached many first time presenters to speak with confidence & poise.
